Caitie Kurtz built WSK Solutions on a straightforward premise: the people who've done the mission are best positioned to support it.
Her career began in the U.S. Army, where she served as a Brigade Electronic Warfare Officer across two overseas deployments, including operations in Kabul, Afghanistan. She trained CREW Master Gunners, briefed senior commanders on ECM capabilities and tactics, and coordinated complex engineering tests with the European Aeronautic Defense and Space (EADS) company — experience that shaped how she thinks about systems, risk, and operational readiness.
Following her military service, Caitie joined the U.S. Department of State's security apparatus as an ECM and Global Security Communications Technician, completing technical installations across Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel, Lebanon, Pakistan, Nepal, and beyond. She earned a Letter of Accommodation from the Regional Security Officer in Islamabad for her work restoring communications in high-risk environments.
With a Top Secret/SCI clearance and more than a decade of field-tested experience spanning electronic warfare, vehicle platform integration, and secure communications, she founded WSK Solutions to bring that expertise to federal agencies and defense operations nationwide.

Kial Wecker doesn't just know these systems — in many cases, he helped define how they're tested, integrated, and fielded.
With nearly three decades of experience in military communications, electronic warfare, and C4I systems integration, Kial is one of the most seasoned ECM and vehicle platform integration specialists in the industry. His career began at Naval Air Warfare Center China Lake, where he spent years supporting live range testing, blue force communications, and early CREW jammer installations — ground-floor experience that gave him a technical foundation few can match.
From there, Kial moved into direct support of U.S. Department of State operations, serving as ECM Subject Matter Expert and Baghdad Shop Lead before taking on increasingly senior roles in vehicle platform integration and OCONUS field support. He has deployed to Iraq and numerous high-threat posts worldwide, installing, troubleshooting, and sustaining the full suite of DoS protective technology — ECM, MVS, CCR, CUAS, LRAD, and more — across tactical and non-tactical vehicle fleets.
A certified FSR on Counter-UAS systems including Corian and Skyview, Kial holds OEM-level certifications across Harris, EGON, Duke, EPLRS, and SINCGARS platforms, and is cleared to handle COMSEC/CCI material. He has designed large-scale secure tactical networks, directed R&D prototype testing, and authored SOPs used by teams across multiple theaters of operation.
He holds a Top Secret/SCI clearance and brings to WSK Solutions the kind of hard-won expertise that only comes from doing the work — at the bench, in the field, and downrange.

JR Snodgrass has spent over two decades at the leading edge of electronic warfare, counter-IED technology, and armored vehicle integration — and the breadth of that experience is exactly what he brings to WSK Solutions.
His career spans the full lifecycle of protective security technology, from early-stage R&D and compatibility testing to large-scale fielding and sustainment. He got his start at Naval Air Warfare Center China Lake supporting CREW systems testing and spectrum analysis, eventually rising to Site Lead overseeing all aspects of CIED test operations — personnel, infrastructure, and test execution — for multiple government and contracting agencies.
From there, JR moved into program management, leading ECM and Vehicle Platform Integration programs responsible for over 200 Department of State armored vehicles annually, managing 60+ personnel across CONUS and OCONUS operations, and overseeing an asset inventory exceeding $400M in value. He later served as a Theater Support Testing Coordinator for DTRA/JIDO-sponsored C-sUAS compatibility testing, briefing senior military and civilian leadership on emerging counter-drone and counter-IED capabilities across multiple test ranges.
A recognized subject matter expert in ECM, C-sUAS, tactical radio, and life safety equipment integration, JR has deployed forward as a Country Lead in Iraq and supported protective security operations at posts worldwide. He holds certifications in CREW operations, EGON, advanced fiber optics, Class 3 soldering, spectrum analyzer operations, and EOD robot maintenance, and carries a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
When it comes to protecting people in high-threat environments, JR has seen — and solved — nearly every challenge the mission can present.
